A field test was conducted with Mobil 1 0W-20 on Toyota Prius taxi vehicles operated day-in day-out over 120,000 km in cold and extreme hot weather conditions, as well as in mixed city, suburban and highway driving conditions. Periodic engine inspections demonstrated excellent protection against deposits, sludge, and wear despite the strenuous operating conditions and the accumulation of numerous stop-and-go events.
